The Stuttgart School District will continue its lease with the American Legion for use of Charlie Crawford field. The district's board of directors approved a lease agreement with Stuttgart's Daniel Harder American Legion Post No. 48 during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night. The one-year lease includes rent of $1. The district is also planning improvements to the field's backstop and netting. Superintendent Nathan Gills said the district hasn't received any bids for the project. The board voted to allow Gills to solicit bids for $25,000 or less.
