1. To identify the plant community characteristics in mangrove forest, peat swamp forest, Cajuput (Melaleuca quinquenervia) forest mixed golden rangeland and beach forest at Phra Thong Island. 2. To study the soil physiochemical properties in soil at Phra Thong Island. 3. To interpret the relationship between plant community characteristics and soil physiochemical properties at Phra Thong Island. 4. To interpret the community distribution and varies spatially with changing conditions of soil factors and geographical location. Expected results 1. General and comparative information related to plant community issues in the study area. 2. Natural resources database of the study area. 3. Knowledge-based on the relationship between plants in mangrove forest and mean sea level rise. 4. Improving an important ecological site through efficient administration, prevention and local participation. 5.
